For precisely these applications, Ursa-Chemie has a suitable solution – a high-performance production plant made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP).
Ideal for corrosive applications
The system has been specifically designed for products that are highly corrosive to steel and enamel equipment. Thanks to its GRP and PVDF construction, it offers excellent resistance to many aggressive chemicals, such as hydrogen fluoride, sodium hypochlorite and chromic acid, and enables the safe production of complex formulations.
With a working volume of 7,000 litres, the system is suitable for both larger production batches and flexible contract manufacturing projects.
Efficient homogenisation
To ensure thorough mixing of the products, the system is equipped with a powerful 2 kW helical blade agitator. This ensures an even distribution of the ingredients and helps to maintain consistent product quality throughout the entire manufacturing process.
The plant is also located in an explosion-proof area and therefore meets key requirements for processing such products in safe conditions.
Flexible filtration options
Depending on the product requirements, the system can be fitted with a range of filter systems. Of particular note is the ability to achieve filtration fineness of up to 0.5 micrometres using a Hendor filter. This ensures that even the most stringent requirements for purity and particle-free operation can be reliably met.
A wide range of filling options
Once production is complete, there are various filling options available. The finished products can be filled into:
• IBC containers
• Drums
• Canisters
can be bottled. Smaller containers are also available on request via Ursa-Chemie’s in-house small-batch bottling facility.
