Works meeting 2018 – one or the other employee of Ursa-Chemie GmbH has already tasted the delicious apple juice… but this is not just any apple juice.
One day before, the UCM apple trees were diligently gathered and picked in order to transport the rich fruit harvest to the contract cidery “Ninks Saftladen” in Neuwied. With energetic support, the apples were washed, ground, pressed and finally pasteurized and bottled hot. The yield was impressive: around 115 liters of the finest apple juice were bottled in 5-liter boxes and made available to the workforce in the canteen and the logistics center.
Two years later – after the apple juice was sold very well in 2018, another successful harvest was brought in in 2020. This time, the 80 liters of juice obtained were pressed in Girod and then made available to the workforce again – cheers!
