On 29 January, Schütz, our long-standing partner, opened its doors to a delegation of trainers, trainees and interested colleagues from the Ursa-Chemie team. The atmosphere was warm as we were welcomed to the factory premises in Selters, and the day promised exciting insights into the world of modern production.
An informative journey through the production process:
The company tour began with a comprehensive company presentation, which gave us an insight into the history and values of Schütz. We were then taken on an almost three-hour tour of the production facilities and the extensive grounds of the plant. From ultra-modern processes to innovative technology, we were able to experience at first hand how Schütz manufactures its products and ensures quality at the highest level.
Joint exchange and networking:
The factory tour was not only an opportunity to familiarise ourselves with production, but also a chance to exchange ideas. We had the opportunity to meet our Schütz colleagues over lunch. This direct communication between the employees of both companies not only strengthens the partnership, but also provides valuable insights into different working methods and processes.

For both our young trainees and our experienced colleagues, the factory tour at Schütz was an insightful and enlightening morning. The opportunity to look behind the scenes of such a renowned company has deepened our understanding of modern production techniques and strengthened our appreciation for the long-standing partnership with Schütz.
