Einblick in den ersten Schulungsblock 2024

Insight into the first training block 2024 at Ursa-Chemie GmbH

As a company in the chemical industry, it is of the utmost importance to us at Ursa-Chemie GmbH to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees. Regular training ensures that all employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to recognise potential hazards, react appropriately and prevent accidents.

In our first training block of 2024, we covered a wide range of topics, from the initial treatment of broken bones and joint injuries through to the Accident Ordinance. Our aim was to ensure that our team is well informed and can apply the best possible workplace safety practices.

One of the central topics of this training was the first aid treatment of broken bones and joint injuries. Our employees learnt how to recognise these injuries, assess potential dangers and take appropriate first aid measures. This knowledge is not only useful in the workplace, but also in everyday life, as it can help to prevent serious injuries and save lives.

Another important aspect of the training was the correct behaviour in the event of traffic accidents. We have informed our employees about how they can travel safely, whether by car or other means of transport. We have also prepared them on how to behave in the event of a breakdown or accident in order to protect themselves and others in the best possible way.

We also paid particular attention to the notification chains within our company. In the event of an emergency, it is crucial that information is passed on quickly and effectively to the right people to ensure an appropriate response and minimise potential damage.

Fire protection was another central topic of our training. Our employees were informed about the dangers of fires and learnt how to recognise and fight them. We have also emphasised the importance of the correct use of ladders and steps to prevent accidents caused by falls.

We also dealt with the Hazardous Incident Ordinance and the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE). Our team was informed about what PPE Ursa-Chemie GmbH provides, what risks it covers and what obligations both employers and employees have to ensure their safety.

Finally, we discussed accident prevention regulations and emphasised how important it is to take preventative measures to avoid accidents in the workplace. We have explained the obligations and rights of both employers and employees and emphasised the importance of shared responsibility for safety in the workplace.

Overall, our first training block in 2024 was a great success. The team has gained valuable knowledge and skills that not only improve their safety in the workplace, but also help them feel more confident in their everyday lives. At Ursa-Chemie, we remain committed to our values of prioritising the safety of our employees and continuously investing in their training and development.
