More and more of our employees are switching to bicycles, especially in the warmer months. Whether for health, environmental or practical reasons, the JobRad scheme at Ursa-Chemie is being used extensively and is enjoying increasing popularity.
However, this positive trend also brought with it a challenge: where can all these bicycles be parked safely and neatly?
The solution came directly from within the company. Some colleagues had the idea of installing bicycle racks on the factory premises – with enough space for everyone who cycles to work. The proposal was immediately approved by management and quickly implemented.
The result is impressive:
The new bike racks not only offer functional parking facilities, but have also been fitted with eye-catching red scratch protection. This ensures that the paintwork on the frame remains undamaged, even when things get a little crowded. At the same time, the clear structure of the parking areas ensures greater order and clarity on the company premises.
A small project with a big impact:
The new bike racks symbolise what we value at Ursa-Chemie: initiative, short decision-making processes and good teamwork. When employees contribute ideas that improve our everyday work, we listen to them – and, in the best case scenario, implement them quickly.
