On 6 September, the big day finally arrived – we opened our doors to the public! Our open day was a resounding success and will remain in our memories for a long time to come.
A colourful day full of impressions
Even though we didn’t quite reach the thousand-visitor mark, the response was overwhelming. Around 25 groups made their way through our production facilities one after the other. What was particularly nice was that the diverse mix of age groups and backgrounds made for exciting conversations. Our guests’ questions also inspired our own team, making each tour a special experience.
Meanwhile, the younger guests also had a wonderful time: whether on the bouncy castle, in the craft and experiment corner or watching the spectacular ice cream delivery by drone – the children clearly had a lot of fun!
Entertainment, enjoyment and creativity
RPR1 created a great atmosphere, accompanying the day with commentary, music and an entertaining quiz. There was also something for everyone when it came to food: Wolke 8 spoiled our guests with everything from sweet treats to hearty main courses.
A particular highlight was our artists’ corner with the Montabaur Art Association: three unique works reflecting Ursa Chemie and Montabaur were created here. The pictures will be given a place of honour at our company – as a lasting reminder of this special day. Many impressions were captured by Nitz Fotografie Montabaur, whose photos we are publishing in this article. Thank you for your excellent work!
Thanks to our supporters
A big thank you goes to Smilingevents, who took care of the organisation involving external partners, as well as to our internal organisation team, who worked extremely hard. On the day of the event itself and also on Sundays, numerous helpers were on hand – from our own ranks, but also from the castle guard, the Fighting Farmers and the Spvgg. Haiderbach who have actively supported us. Thank you very much for your commitment!
The proceeds from the day will go to the Kleine Herzen Westerwald e.V. association, who were also present and introduced their valuable work.
Closing with our summer party
However, the official end at 5 p.m. was by no means the end of the day. Hidden behind the curtains of the craft corner was our evening venue – and so we experienced our packaging hall in a completely new light.
Wolke 8 once again served a creative burger buffet for the staff summer party, accompanied by sweet desserts and cool drinks. DJ Dominic provided the musical finale, filling the dance floor until late in the evening and getting everyone moving once again.
Our conclusion
A great day, a successful evening and, above all, lots of happy faces. We are proud that we were able to inspire so many people on this day – and would like to thank all our guests, partners and helpers who contributed to this.
We are already looking forward to the next time!
