Working together for a healthy back: spinal exercises at Ursa-Chemie

Spinal exercises at Ursa-Chemie

A healthy back plays a key role in our well-being, our productivity and our quality of life. That is why, on 17 June, Ursa-Chemie GmbH once again focused on the health of its staff. As part of our workplace health promotion programme, participants came together for a group session of spinal exercises.

After all, whether in the office, on the production floor or in our day-to-day work, our backs are subjected to a great deal of strain every day. Sitting or standing for long periods, repetitive movements, and lifting and carrying heavy loads can put a strain on the spine and muscles. This makes it all the more important to ensure we get regular exercise and make a conscious effort to find a balance.

Under expert guidance, our staff took part in a varied training session featuring targeted exercises to strengthen the back, abdominal and core muscles. The programme also included mobility and stretching exercises designed to improve flexibility and help relieve tension. This demonstrated once again that even short, regular exercise sessions can make a valuable contribution to a healthy and active everyday life.

But the group spinal exercises offered more than just an effective workout. The exercise break was also a welcome change from the daily work routine and an opportunity to be active together. Exercise can help to relieve stress, recharge your batteries and improve your body awareness. And, of course, there’s no shortage of fun to be had in the group!

We regard the health of our staff as a key component of a modern and supportive corporate culture. Through our workplace health promotion initiatives, we aim to help support our staff’s health and physical well-being in the long term, whilst at the same time raising awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

The positive feedback and the encouragingly high level of participation show us that our staff are very interested in our health and wellbeing initiatives. This is a great incentive for us to continue being active together in the future – because, for us, health, motivation and team spirit go hand in hand.

Working together for a healthy back – and a strong team!
