Ursa-Chemie GmbH is GMP-certified for the manufacturing of cosmetic products in accordance with the European Cosmetics Regulation. The standard DIN EN ISO 22716 ‘Cosmetics – Good manufacturing practice (GMP) – Guide to good manufacturing practice’ (known as cosmetic GMP for short) specifies the requirements for manufacturing of cosmetic products, e.g. in terms of hygiene, premises, equipment, documentation and quality control. Or to put it another way: It is a guideline to reliably regulate the product flow from receipt to dispatch – including production, monitoring, storage and documentation. GMP certification serves as proof of conformity with this standard to authorities and customers. During the certification process, an audit is carried out by an independent third party in which the production of the cosmetic raw materials is checked against these specifications.

In addition, we provide full inspection and documentation of all raw materials, processes and finished products as well as our uncompromising quality management according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
