Do you think a training fair is superfluous because you can easily research all the information you need about your training and career aspirations online? Far from it! At a training fair, you get first-hand impressions from trainees and employees that no website in the world can give you.
For example: What opportunities are available to me? And: Which offers interest me? This is particularly helpful if you are still in the process of deciding where you would like to go in your future career.
Flyers, brochures and posters are indispensable, but you can gain much more detailed information about your dream training programme by talking to the training supervisor in person.
Another important source of information is, of course, our trainees present at the fair!
This allows you to directly ask the apprentices’ perspective in addition to that of their superiors. What tasks await me? What does a typical working day look like? How often do I have to attend vocational school? All these questions are best answered first-hand. The big advantage here is that the smaller age difference between you and the trainees means you’ll have a direct connection and can chat to them more easily.
“We at Ursa-Chemie GmbH were there so that the young people could get to know your future company during their search phase.”
