As part of our health programme, the well-being of our employees is particularly important to us. Throughout the year, we offer regular courses designed to motivate people to exercise, try new things and – at the same time – do something for their body and mind.
Until now, we have often offered courses over a longer period of time. This year, however, we would like to break new ground: instead of a fixed programme, there will now be several courses spread throughout the year. Taster courses. This allows us to create space for variety, spark interest and lower the barrier to simply giving it a go.
Because one thing is clear: regular exercise or targeted balancing exercises cannot always be fitted into everyday working life – and even Ursa cannot make this possible for everyone. But what we can do is: create incentives and Provide inspiration. Because sometimes all it takes is a little push to discover new exercise routines – or at least a moment of relaxation and togetherness.
Our last course was a Theraband training, once again in collaboration with our partners from Human fitness. Elastic bands offer many advantages: they enable joint-friendly strength training, promote mobility and flexibility, and are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. They are also inexpensive, space-saving and versatile – ideal for beginners or for training in between.
And let’s not forget: the social aspect is not neglected either. Training together, trying out new exercises and laughing at yourself sometimes – that creates bonds. We experienced exactly that again during the last session.
