The 26th Münz New Year’s Eve Run in Montabaur was a resounding success and a real highlight at the end of 2025. In wintry temperatures, a fantastic atmosphere and an impressive backdrop, over 2,500 runners took to the starting line – more than ever before. This significantly surpassed the previous year’s record.
As a company with regional roots based in Montabaur, Ursa-Chemie GmbH is delighted to have been part of this special event.
Exercise, community and enthusiasm
The New Year’s Eve run once again demonstrated how much power there is in moving together. Whether ambitious runners, amateur athletes or families: the many children’s and Bambini runs in particular created a great atmosphere and made the day an experience for all generations.
A big thank you goes to the organising team at münz GmbH, the numerous helpers and everyone who cheered and supported the runners along the route. Without this commitment, an event of this magnitude would not be possible.
Regionality that connects
Regionality and social commitment are integral parts of our corporate identity. Our location in Montabaur is more than just a workplace for us – it is a piece of home.
By supporting the münz New Year’s Eve Run, we aim to:
- strengthen regional cohesion
- promote an active and conscious start to the new year
- and demonstrate how important exercise, community and responsibility are
We are particularly proud to be a visible part of this success story as a sponsor.
Sustainability in motion
A small but important highlight:
All participants received a sustainable reusable bottle – a powerful symbol of how sustainability and sport go hand in hand.
For us, this symbolises our claim:
👉 Chemistry keeps things moving – in everyday life, in sport and in the future.
Together with our team, we are working to make the chemical industry more conscious, resource-efficient and sustainable, step by step.
We would like to thank all the runners, organisers, helpers and spectators for this unforgettable end to the year. The 26th münz New Year’s Eve Run was not only a sporting success, but also a strong sign of community and solidarity in our region.
We wish everyone an energetic start to the new year and are already looking forward to a successful, healthy and eventful 2026 – and, of course, to the next New Year’s Eve run in Montabaur. 💙
