Focus on our plants: Launch of the new series

To give our customers even more transparent insights into our production capabilities, we at Ursa-Chemie are launching a new blog series:
👉 ‘Focus on our facilities’.

We will gradually be presenting our technical facilities here – with the aim of showing which processes we can map, what advantages this offers users and where we can provide targeted support, whether in contract manufacturing, pilot projects or process optimisation.

The first plant is ‘no flash in the pan’

We start with one of our central production facilities:
a 10,000-litre boiler with a guide steel mixer installed on the side.

Powerful, flexible, efficient

Our 10,000-litre boiler is made of 1.4571 / AISI 316Ti, a stainless, austenitic chrome-nickel stainless steel with titanium stabilisation. This material is characterised by its excellent corrosion resistance and is ideal for demanding chemical processes.

The boiler is equipped with a jet mixer as a stirring device – a combination that offers numerous advantages for our customers.

Homogeneous mixing – without air entrainment

The power jet mixer used ensures effective micro and macro mixing of the entire container contents. The result is consistently high product quality throughout the entire batch.

A decisive advantage:
👉 No air enters the product.
This is particularly important for sensitive substances where oxygen or foam formation can be problematic.

Vertical mixing across all levels

The special rotor-stator-rotor design creates a pronounced vertical flow that mixes the entire tank contents – not just the surface.

✔️ Heavy sediments are reliably suspended
✔️ Mixing below the product level is possible even when only half of the boiler is in use

This keeps the process stable and reproducible – regardless of the fill level.

High energy and process efficiency

Another advantage is energy efficiency:
up to 90% of the energy used is converted directly into effective vertical flow. Unnecessary rotation of the contents is avoided.

In addition, no vortices are created, which:

  • the aerial photograph reduced
  • Foam formation minimised
  • and increased process stability

The result: shorter processing times, better use of raw materials and good product quality.

Thermal capabilities & viscosities

Our facility also offers:

  • Heat to approx. 145 °C
  • Cool to approx. 10 °C
  • Processing of products with Viscosities up to max. 1,000 mPa·s

This makes the system suitable for a wide range of different recipes and processes.

Flexible attachments & filling options

Depending on customer requirements, the boiler can be individually supplemented, e.g. with:

  • Candle or plate filters
  • disperser
  • Connection to storage tanks up to 30,000 litres

We are also flexible when it comes to bottling:

  • canister
  • barrels
  • Folding container with inner liner
  • IBCs
  • tanker
  • or smaller containers via our small-scale filling area (semi-automatic, on request)

Proven in many industries

Our system is regularly used in:

  • the chemical industry
  • cosmetics production
  • agricultural industry
  • and many other areas

Wherever efficient processes, high quality and reliability are required.
